The fabrics and textiles that we fill our spaces with can do so much to them dimensionally. From color and texture, the different fabrics that we use can add anything from warmth and weight to acting as a finish. Today I am exploring fabrics in the form of draperies and curtains. These 5 cozy drapery scroll stoppers are all super different and I think that speaks to the endless amount of ways that we can bring textiles into our rooms.
If this is your first time visiting a scroll stopper’s blog post, you may be wondering what a scroll stopper is. I am constantly inspired by the photos I come across and I like to save images to refer back to. Each week, I share a set of my saved images in these blog posts in hopes that they also inspire you in some way. If you would like to see past week’s scroll stoppers, click here [HERE].
What drew me to this photo by @decemberlunainteriors was how seamlessly the cozy plaid drapery blends into this entryway. Without the curtains, this entryway would still be so stunning. Look at that flooring and that large door! But with the curtains, the space is instantly warmed up.
I had to add a photo to this collection of images that show a bright white space is still light and bright with cozy drapery added. I love this corner that @carlaypage shared and the mixture of patterns and textiles that she styled together so effortlessly.
A glimpse into this room by @aquietlifeathome has inspired me so much! I love the bright gingham bed canopy that pops against the dark tones in its neighboring room. It’s such a unique way to add drapery into a space.
I really enjoy the way that @elizabeths_humble_house uses some cozy drapery in this space. Do you have a space in your home that you would like to conceal? Utilizing curtains or some sort of drapery may be the perfect solution!
This bunk bed space by @amberinteriors is truly so cozy! I love the dark wood tones against the long plaid privacy curtains. Whenever I see a grand space like this utilizing bunk beds it always makes me stop and take a minute to admire because of how seldom we see these spaces designed so well.
After making this blog post I am so inspired to start using more draperies in our home. How do you like to use drapery in your home? Do you utilize curtains for privacy or to conceal a space? I would love to hear on Facebook or Instagram. Thanks for stopping by the blog today and every day!
