When the summer tan starts to fade, it can be hard to know how to keep that radiant, golden glow going for a little longer. Without jetting off for some winter sun, or going in for a full body spray tan, how can you add a little sunshine into your makeup routine? Powder bronzers have fallen out of favour in recent years with dewy cream formulas preferred by many. The easiest way to add a little shine into your base colour is with a stick bronzer. Just slick over the areas of your face that would usually catch the sun, blend and go! Ready to give it a go? Read my top tips and then shop my edit of the best bronzing sticks.

Bronzing Sticks Top Tips
Don’t overdose on shine. If you’re using a more radiant bronzing stick with some highlighting elements or any shimmer, keep other areas of your face matte and consider a matte lip and T-zone.
Apply your bronzing stick after your foundation base and blend with your fingertips for a more natural look. Opt for the area that covers the cheek bones and across the bridge of your nose for a more natural look as well as the hairline (you can add powder if you want this area matte). Consider where the sun would naturally hit and use this as a guide for application.
Add a little on your collarbones and/or shoulders if the area is on show for a more complete radiant glow.
